A few years ago, Arjen Robben was considered as one of the best footballers on the planet, but time had its say and he is now looking forward to finding a new club where he can spend the last seasons of his career.

For the last 8 years, he played for German giants Bayern Munich, but he recently made it official: he’s planning to leave at the end of the season, meaning that he will also leave some very big shoes that need somebody to fill them.

Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman are two of the club’s players who can continue Arjen Robben’s legacy.

Gnabry joined the German club for Arsenal and spent the last season on loan, but he is now determined to prove that he is Bayern Munich material. As for Kingsley Coman, he already made a name for himself, getting closer to his 100th appearance for the club.

Arjen Robben admitted that he has high hopes for both players and expect them to shine for Bayern in the near future.

“We work and talk together every day, but it’s down to the young players themselves. You give tips when necessary, because you’ve got the experience in that position. But at the end of the day you have to work things out for yourself,” the Dutchman said, according to GiveMeSport.

“You need to gain experience, work hard, never be satisfied and always try to improve and perform for the team. I hope they’ll be successful.”

Obviously, they have a long journey ahead, but there’s no doubt that both are incredibly talented players. And if they will keep improving, Arjen Robben will definitely be proud to see one of them scoring like he was doing back in the days.
