Brahim Diaz won’t be loaned by Real Madrid at the end of the season
Real Madrid weren’t very active during the January transfer window, as the only signing they made was promising Spanish youngster Brahim Diaz, from Manchester City. Not once did Pep Guardiola praise him, but, in the end, he felt that the player would get more minutes on the pitch in La Liga.
However, this theory is far from becoming reality, as Diaz got just 24 minutes of action for his new club, in all competitions. In La Liga, he has featured only eight minutes, in the 2-1 win against Real Betis.
Considering this, a few reports from Spain stated that Real Madrid is actually considering loaning Brahim Diaz, just to make sure that he gets enough game time and develops to his true potential. After all, there’s a lot of competition in Real’s wide areas up front, with players like Gareth Bale, Vinicius Jr., Lucas Vasquez, and Marco Asensio being ahead of the young player.

But Real have actually responded to all these rumours, informing Diaz that they aren’t considering loaning him anytime soon, due to two important reasons. First thing first, he is absolutely ready to become a part of Santiago Solari’s squad, and secondly, if he keeps training each week with the squad, he will progress a lot, no matter how many minutes he gets on the pitch.
Real Madrid are currently engaged in three competitions, so it’s more than obvious that Santiago Solari will use Brahim Diaz when he opts to rotate his side.
The chances of winning the title are low right now, as Barcelona can’t be caught by Real Madrid, so we won’t be surprised if Diaz will actually make a few appearances from the first minute, in Solari’s attempt to experiment.
