Brazil has just won its 9th Copa America, against Peru. Dani Alvès, one of the Seleção‘s best players, has added a new title to his list of achievements. The Brazilian right-back, who is unrivalled, has won a total of 40 titles in all competitions, including 23 titles with Barcelona.
After winning a Ligue 1 title with PSG a few months ago, the player has just added a new trophy to his list of achievements by winning the South American championship. With his 40 titles, Dani Alvès is therefore the most successful player in activity but also the most successful of all time.
The Brazilian was recently at the same level as Welshman Ryan Giggs, who has won 35 titles in his career.
Dani Alves won 28 trophies, including three Champions Leagues, six Liga titles with Barcelona and two UEFA Cups with Sevilla. Then he went to Juventus and won the double and won six other titles with PSG.
With the Seleção, he has won two Confederations Cups and two Copa America titles.
