Liverpool was somehow forced to win against Burnley last night, at Turf Moor, as Manchester City are playing incredibly well, not to mention that they sealed another victory against Watford. Basically, the three points were mandatory for the Reds, in order to maintain any title hopes.

However, Jurgen Klopp took a big risk, leaving players like Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, and Sadio Mane out of the first eleven and using Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Naby Keita instead.

At first, it looked like a harsh decision, as Burnley took the lead, thanks to Jack Cork’s early goal and everybody believed that Klopp could be in big trouble. But Liverpool eventually managed to get all three points, thanks to goals from James Milner, substitute Roberto Firmino and Xherdan Shaqiri.

However, the main man of the game was none other than Naby Keita.

Ever since he made the move to the Premier League this summer, from RB Leipzig, he made just four starts in the Premier League, so fans were waiting to see the Guinean at his best. And he did not disappoint!

Keita received an 8/10 rating, according to Liverpool Echo, not to mention that fans kept praising him on social media after the game, even suggesting that he should be starting every week. His individual highlights are confirming this!

There’s no doubt that Naby Keita brought a lot of dynamism to the midfield, being absolutely everywhere. He can also tackle, run with the ball and pick a pass. Looks like Liverpool found their very own N’Golo Kante!

“We used him well at the beginning and at the end, but in between I was shouting that we had to use Naby (more),” Jurgen Klopp told reporters after the game.

“Naby made all the difference, I think his blocked shot was the biggest chance we had in the first half. It looked like a proper chance. Second half, one-two with Mo, good finish, bit lucky for Burnley.”
