Kylian Mbappe can’t actually pick his favourite between Ronaldo and Messi
Kylian Mbappe was numerous times compared to Ronaldo and Messi, while some claimed that in a few years, he can become even better than the two living legends. Still, when he was asked to pick his favourite, he had a difficult time deciding, admitting that he would retire to make room for both of them in his squad.
“If I had the choice between Messi and Ronaldo for my team? I’d retire and take both of them, to be sure that we win!,” said the youngster for France Football.
“I could choose one, but it would likely be at the expense of the other. And you don’t have the right to denigrate one of these two monsters. To choose one would be an insult to everything that the other has achieved.”
Mbappe is trying to follow their footsteps, as after winning the World Cup with France last summer – a trophy that neither Messi or Ronaldo have in their portfolio – is now trying to conquer another title with PSG this Wednesday, as they need just three points, which can be obtained against Nantes, to become champions.
Last night, in the UEFA Champions League, it was Lionel Messi who shined, as he scored two goals against Manchester United, one of them being a ridiculous shot, which David de Gea couldn’t save.
Ronaldo, on the other side, wasn’t so lucky. Despite scoring, the Portuguese was knocked out of the competition, as Juventus lost, 2-1, to Ajax Amsterdam.
