Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, the new summer recruit, have been assigned into Raul’s reserve side, Castilla for the upcoming season. Real Madrid’s reserve is evolving in the third division.

The 18 years old Japanese player: Takefuso Kubo was registered with Juvenil A, the U19 team of Real Madrid in order to be available both for Castilla de Raúl and for Zinedine Zidane’s staff.

The two Brazilians former Flamengo Vinícius Júnior, and the newcomer Rodrygo will be part, at least in a bureaucratic way, of the Madrid subsidiary.

Additionally for Vinicius, in the case of disputing more than ten matches with Zidane’s squad (the previous year he played in 18 league matches, eight King’s Cup matches, and four Champions League matches), he could no longer return to Castilla and would only have to play with Zidane.

According to Mundo Deportivo and As, a law can prevent the two Brazilians from finishing in the reserve team. Both players will be able to stay with the first team, according to Law 226 of regulations

“the footballer may return to the club of origin unless he has been lined up in the superior in ten matches, alternately or successively, in any of the official competitions in which he participates, regardless of the real-time they have acted”.

In the meantime, there is no doubt about their involvement with Zinedine Zidane’s A team because they are currently in Montreal with the first team to do the club’s pre-season internship.
