Bayern Munich is currently active in the DFB Cup (semi-final - last match) and in the Bundesliga (group stage - 33rd matchday) on the first place with only 23 missed of no less than 30 matches. In contrast, the club were eliminated in the round of 16 against Liverpool FC of the UEFA Champions League despite 67% in victorious games and first place in Group E. All in all, 36 goals were conceded, 27 of 39 games were won and 46 goals were scored in the current season. Niko Kovac from Croatia looks after and coaches the players of the German selection.

The Allianz Arena in Munich, the home venue of the team, was built to accommodate more than 75,000 people. The most frequent substitutes are goalkeeper Sven Ulreich, midfielders Franck Ribery, Renato Sanches and James Rodriguez, and defenders Rafinha and Jerome Boateng. Although Bayern Munich were behind in the first half, they managed to win a match against 1. FC Heidenheim in 1846 and leave the pitch in the current season. Although Alphonso Davies is only 18 years old, the club has an average age of 26. In FCB's own stadium, Liverpool FC has manifested itself as the toughest opponent, as no victory and three defeats were brought out by Bayern Munich.

In the first half the group tends to gain a lead. With ten fouls per game (on average), Bayern Munich can be called a quiet choice in most cases. In the selection 19 % prefer to kick with the right foot. 21 soccer players have made it into the starting eleven this season. They include goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, centre-back Mats Hummels and Niklas Sule, strikers Kingsley Coman and Arjen Robben, midfielder Thiago Alcantara and left-back David Alaba. Bayern Munich has the most victorious balance against VfL Wolfsburg (79/14/8). On the other hand, the deal against Liverpool FC (0/2/3) is the most negative in the long run. Thanks to the late goal in the 97th minute by the 178cm tall right foot Kingsley Coman, the selection succeeded on February 6, 2019 against Hertha BSC with 3:2 win.

In five matches the team did not manage to win against Liverpool FC. The most recent game took place on 19 February 2019. In the five matches since 1 August 2017, the team's score against Liverpool FC is -8. With twelve triumphs and just one failure, the 4-1-2-3 arrangement is currently the most successful of Bayern Munich. The goalkeepers of the team have made an excellent effort in holding opposing goal attempts. The team started with no less than three formations in the matches of the current season (4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 4-1-2-3, 4-1-4-1). When Bayern Munich's 68kg heavy jersey number 13 Rafinha scored the goal from a distance of 23m on 22 December 2018 in the 17th group phase match of the Bundesliga against Eintracht Frankfurt, even the fans of the other side were surprised.

Recently the team tried the 4-2-3-1 formation against RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, which ended in a draw (0:0). The team achieved the largest possible lead of the first half of four points in the 25th group phase match of the Bundesliga against VfL Wolfsburg. In the end, Bayern Munich also successfully finished 6:0. Only 40 % of the 17 shots on goal per game (bottom line) finally reached the goal. In total, the selection weighs more than two elephants, but on average even 6.8 kg less than the European average. With 93 kg this value is most significantly exceeded by the 193cm tall German Manuel Neuer. Occasionally it happens that a game is decided only shortly before the end of the game, as for example on 19 December 2018 against RB Leipzig by a goal of the 170cm high jersey number 07 Franck Ribery in the 83rd minute. Bayern Munich achieved such a victory another four times this season.

With an average height of 183cm, the team's pros are no smaller than their competitors. In the 20th Bundesliga group-phase match against Bayer Leverkusen on 2 February 2019, the team conceded the greatest possible inferiority of the current playing time of three goals. In the 15th group phase match of the Bundesliga against Hannover 96 the 72kg heavy right foot Joshua Kimmich scored the fastest goal of the FCB this season after only 60 seconds. In away games Bayern Munich prefers to play VfL Wolfsburg, as this is where the most frequent triumphs took place. The club suffered a defeat this season in two matches (against Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund) despite leading in the first half.
