Chelsea vs Fulham – Prediction, Odds and Betting Tips
Chelsea suffered last week its first Premier League defeat this season, but luckily for the Blues, their next opponent is one that Sarri’s men should easily destroy. At least in theory.
Fulham is last in the PL rankings, but with a new manager on the bench, Claudio Ranieri, has obtained its second victory of the campaign. What will happen next?
Manchester City and Liverpool remain the only unbeaten teams in the Premier League this season after Chelsea lost to Tottenham on the road last week, 1-3. With this defeat, Sarri’s men fell to 4th place, having 28 points from 13 matches, 28-11 aggregate.
Alli opened the score after just 8 minutes, taking advantage of a huge mistake by Kepa. The Spaniard also remained stunned by Kane’s shot eight minutes later and Tottenham had an early 2-0 lead. Heung-Min Son had a lovely run in the 54th minute and made it 3-0 and Chelsea was nowhere to be seen on the pitch. Tottenham finished with nine shots on target. The visitors, however, managed to get the consolation goal in the 85th minute, after Giroud beat fellow Frenchman Lloris.
On social media, Kepa was destroyed by Chelsea fans. Many believe that the goalkeeper’s move to Stamford Bridge has been overpriced and he’s not worthy to be part of the starting 11.
Last night, Chelsea played against PAOK Salonic and obtain the victory with ease – 4-0. With 15 points after the first five matches, the Blues are already qualified into the next round of the competition.
Hazard is having once again some issues with his back, but Chelsea’s no. 10 should play against Fulham.
- Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga
- Backfield: Marcos Alonso, David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Aspilicueta
- Midfield: N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Ross Barkley
- Forwards: Eden Hazard, Olivier Giroud, Willian
The board’s decision to sack Jokanovic and replace him with Claudio Ranieri seems like a wise one until now. The Italian’s first match on Fulham’s bench was a win, 3-2, at home, against Southampton.
Armstrong opened the score for the Saints after 18 minutes, but Mitrovic and Schurrle were quick to get their team in front until halftime. After the break, the same Armstrong scored for Southampton, in the 54th minute, but nine minutes later, Mitrovic also got his “brace” and assured the three points for Fulham. It was the club’s second victory this season.
Fulham still remains last in the Premier League rankings, but now has 8 points in 13 games, 14-33 aggregate. Ranieri will have to work on the defense, the worst one in the league.
The former Leicester and Nantes manager has made quite some tactical moves in the starting line-up. He put Chambers as a defensive midfielder and moved Sessegnon to the wing, in the attack
- Goalkeeper: Marcus Bettinelli
- Backfield: Cyrus Christie, Dennis Odoi, Alfie Mawson, Maxime Le Marchand
- Midfield: Ryan Sessegnon, Calum Chambers, Jean Michael Seri, Andre Schurrle, Tom Cairney
- Forwards: Aleksandar Mitrovic

Betting at Bethard, you get 9/50 odds for a Chelsea win. If you believe Fulham can produce a big surprise here, then you should opt either for a draw, 27/4 odds, or a Fulham victory, 65/4 odds.
Ranieri returns to Stamford Bridge 14 years after he left Chelsea. He still might have some love for the Blues, but Fulham needs a win here to escape the relegation zone. That’s why we believe this game will be full of goals. Bet on over 2,5, 17/50. For bigger odds, we also suggest trying over 3,5 goals, 43/50. Can’t compare Tottenham with Fulham, so we don’t really expect Chelsea to have that many issues in this game. Yes, the visitors will try their best to get something from this encounter, but Chelsea should win at a two-goal margin. The odds are 47/100.
To sum things up, we have three predictions for the Chelsea – Fulham match – over 2,5 goals, over 3,5 goals, and Chelsea – 1 EH.
